Martin Bard,
Sr. Project Manager
Martin Bard began his career with Brion Jeannette Architecture in 1998 when he moved to California following his graduation from the University of Hawaii. Martin was drawn to the firm’s commitment to quality, environmental sensitivities and its encouragement of ongoing education that forms the foundation of BJA. He quickly demonstrated that he was a team member that could be counted upon.
As Senior Project Manager, Martin mentors support staff and creates a cohesive team effort on each project. In his 25 years with BJA Martin has gained a specialized expertise in handling and providing oversight of the technical drawings that implement the design objectives of Brion and Amy, along with his extensive Construction Phase Assistance to many of the firm’s most challenging projects. Martin has become a veteran maneuvering the various city, county and coastal agencies to facilitate submittal results. He brings continuity and confidence to the firm and their clients.
Martin has two grown boys, enjoys leadership in Boy Scouts and mentoring Eagle Scouts, cooking, mountain and outdoor activities and his dog, Sadie. He is especially proud of his organic vegetable garden that produces incredible tomatoes.


Katelynn Rodgers,
Project Manager
Katelynn's excitement at BJA began in 2007 as an Intern while a student at Orange Coast College. Her enthusiasm and commitment to the profession made a lasting impression and she began her professional career with Brion Jeannette Architecture in 2015 after obtaining her degree in architecture.
Katelynn was drawn to the firm’s commitment to quality, environmental sensitivities and the time the firm spends with ongoing education with their entire team, critiquing every project in design together, to ensure that the best results are reached for their clients.
Katelynn is a valuable member of BJA’s team with expertise preparing various governing agency submittals, detailing of construction documents and endearing herself to their appreciative clients who have come to rely on Katelynn’s unwavering attention to their homes. She provides critical input helping to finesse the design objectives Brion and Amy seek. As a Sr. Job Captain she provides skillful support to many of the firm’s projects, honing and enhancing her knowledge.
Katelynn enjoys outdoor adventures, mentoring youth at her church, tracking the puzzles of unsolved mysteries, and rooting on her favorite sports teams.


Patrick McCullough
Senior Technical
Patrick’s professional career was elevated in May, 2021 when he joined BJA. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture at Cal Polly State University, San Luis Obispo, and studied at Columbia University in New York. Patrick augmented his education by employment during college, where he enhanced his strong technical skills. He secured his architectural license in 2026.
Patrick’s interest in joining BJA was influenced by his interest in private residential architecture and the firm’s focus on environmentally sensitive design. He was drawn to BJA’s commitment to design uniquely for each Client’s desires, and to enhance the owner’s living experience through opportunities each site provides.
Patrick’s technical skills provide strength in areas critical to the development of the firm’s highly detailed plans and specifications. His growing knowledge of local Governing Agencies and attention to detail give the firm reliable interface with the approval processes for Project development.
Patrick is an avid traveler starting from his childhood living in Shanghai and traveling Europe heightening his interest in architecture. He continues to travel seeking new experiences and architectural knowledge. He also enjoys the outdoors and hiking on the local coastal trails.


Kassandra Mar
Administrative Assistant
Kassandra joined BJA in 2022, as Administrative Assistant with many years’ experience working in a variety of businesses developing skills in HR, bookkeeping, payroll, front office and general office management. Having no prior knowledge of the business of Architecture Kassandra immediately emersed herself in learning about the profession.
Kassandra’s personal passion for art and creativity made BJA the perfect combination for her skills and interests. She keeps the daily activities of the firm organized and sees to the details and functions of all activities from greeting clients, procuring capitol equipment, overseeing IT, managing appointments, correspondence, marketing materials, A/R & A/P and finds time to be the Team Cheerleader!
Kassandra’s enthusiasm for the quality of architecture the firm produces and their unwavering integrity to provide each Client with the best possible experience drives her passion to be a critical part of the BJA Team. She is a wizard in all business software and social media and has developed a significant BJA following.
Kassandra loves animals, enjoys traveling, camping and cooking.
